While I was in line to buy train tickets in Milan, my husband was at a kiosk. Someone was trying to “help” him. I left the line and went over to see that the incorrect station was on the screen. I immediately told the “helper” we didn’t need any help. Suddenly another guy asked my husband if the sun glasses in his hands belonged to him. My husband said yes I must have dropped them. He didn’t, the guy grabbed them from his bag. So the guy holds out his hand wanting a reward. At that point I yanked my husband away from both of them to go back in line to the ticket counter. My husband is a nice guy and at the time he thought I was being rude. Upon reflection he came to realize he was trying to be scammed.
