I believe this was one of the rudest scams I have ever seen. I love to eat, and I am prepared to pay the price, but I hate it when someone makes a fool out of me.
My family and I went out to have dinner at a fish restaurant in Kavos
that night. And you have probably seen some nicely dressed people, standing outside of every restaurant, urging people to have a meal there and offering lower prices or bottle of wine. Well, we had the same situation.
Since there were five of us, the worker outside of the restaurant offered us a bottle of wine and dessert for the children for free if we make a bill over 50 euros. It was tempting, I must say. So we had our dinner at that restaurant, and everything was great, but when the bill came, the waiter charged us with a bottle of wine and a dessert that was promised for free.
I was very disappointed since the service was unremarkable and the food was delicious. I paid the bill and did not want to cause a scene. My advice to you is don't take offers that sound too good to be true.
