I paid a full but competive rental rate with Goldcar in Jan 2018. Despite this they (Denia office, Spain)still ‘stole’ £46 from my credit card for a scratch that was well within their own ‘non pay damage circle’ and which I didn’t even do. They have completely ignored my emails and would not deal with the matter face to face. Their operative just walked away and avoided me by dealing another customer. I had read negative stuff before booking but I booked Goldcar through Ryanair thinking it must be okay….so that’s a story in itself I suppose. I strongly advice not using Goldcar nor Europcar.
