I will need to update this again later , but for now here are some high level details.
Grand Paradise Playa Dorado Resort TimeShare SCAM.
they offer a timeshare/ vacation package under the name Paradise Vacation Club, be aware , they can easily change this name, don’t fall for any of it please.. If you make the mistake of signing up, even if they say you will get your money back, you won’t. You must write a hand written letter, get them to sign and date it, get them to use their stamp as well with the paradise logo. Do it the day after you wake up and realize, “OMG WHAT HAVE I DONE” Go to their office, track them down, wait and get them to sign it. Also They are not affiliated to the Paradise Vacation Club based in the USA registered with BBB and works with a resort in Mexico fyi. This is a complete scam, no benefit. anyways, if you do fall victim don’t waste your time with them. you are better off if you can, getting this letter signed by the person who sold it to you, taking it home and calling your credit card provider. If you cant get a letter, dont panic just yet, just call the credit card company immediately. also never use cash or debit, you will never see that money again. The resort will continue to say the money is on it’s way, until you finally threaten them legally , expect to receive a new Terms and Conditions via email, not one you ever saw before, stating you cannot get a refund… regardless, bottom line , even if you don’t have a letter contact your credit card provider . even if you feel too much time has passed, call them and enquire, open a dispute / investigation. Do yourself a favor, do not give anyone one minute of your time and just enjoy the beach. It is unfortunate these people are associated to the hotel/resort as well. Also, their sister resorts likely sell it under the parent company called amsha marina . I will update my story when I have time. Just please walk away!
