Montenegro
8 scams
Despite its small size, Montenegro has everything that you want to see – the magical Adriatic, magnificent mountains, ravishing towns as well as the stunning Kotor Bay. In short, Montenegro’s natural beauty is unparalleled.
The country is also now much safer to visit since Yugoslavia’s civil war in the 1990s. That said, there are a couple of tourist targeted scams to watch out for.
Note: vast majority of trips are trouble free and there is no need to be paranoid. That said, it always pays to be aware, careful, and prepared.
