Georgia

11 scams

For a small country, Georgia packs a rich culture and a diverse range of fascinating landscapes and climates. Thus, it has since turned from a backpacker secret into the most visited country in the South Caucasus today.

The country is also very safe to visit though there are a couple of tourist targeted scams to watch out for.

Note: vast majority of trips are trouble free and there is no need to be paranoid. That said, it always pays to be aware, careful, and prepared.
