Bosnia and Herzegovina
6 scams
Bosnia may not be as popular amongst tourists as some of its neighbors, but it is charming in its own right, with majestic mountains and historic towns to explore at an affordable price.
Also, the Yugoslav wars are long over and Bosnia is today a safe place to visit. That said, there are a couple of things to watch out for.
Note: vast majority of trips are trouble free and there is no need to be paranoid. That said, it always pays to be aware, careful, and prepared.
