In Kathmandu I was walking in the streets of Thamel, When an Indian kid approached me and started talking to me in English. He said he’s an art student, age 17, studying traditional Mandala at a school near by. He said that he wanted to practice English with me. We walked a bit together and he saw me different markets. He was kind. At one point he asked me if I wanted to go to see his school and that’s what I did. When we arrived there was a lady who pretended to be his teacher. They sold me three paintings for the price of $500. They said that by buying paintings from them I help the school and the art students, and that the kid called Akash will have discounted tuitions. In the end he asked me if I could buy for him some milk, rose and oil for his family that was poor and due to the earthquake they lost their house. We went together to a shop near the school, The guy at the shop asked me for Rs.4000 which is insane amount. Beware of all this scam
